An invitation to apply may be extended to persons descended from Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar (El Cid).  Membership is open to eligible American citizens who are in support of the Constitution of the United States, and the Order's Constitution and Bylaws. 

 

Upon receipt of required fees and verification of an application by the current Genealogist, a qualifying lineally descended applicant of Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar (El Cid), shall be granted full membership status with the privilege of voice, vote, and holding office for the remainder of his or her life.

Life membership is $300, and genealogist's fee is $75. 

​

Supplemental application fee is $50. Genealogist's fee is $40 for the same gateway, and $75 for a new gateway.
